You were having a hard week, nothing was going your way and every little thing irritated you. Every day was the same, you were so bored and lonely. You needed a break.

The area you lived in wasn't the safest, but you decided to leave the house late at night for a walk. With your headphones on, you found yourself walking down the streets. It had been a while, you were no far from home.

You didn't stop however, getting home was the least of your worries. Lost in your own thought, you didn't even hear the car approaching you. It slowed down and drove beside you. It was a police car.

The guy inside had on a helmet and a full MX gear suit, which was strange considering he drove a car. With his windows rolled down, he called out to you but your music was loud. So he stepped out and tapped your shoulder. You turned around.

He gestured for you to take them off, so you did and left it around your neck. Your eyes were red and face wet with tears, but you quickly wiped them away before he spoke up.

"Ma'am, are you okay? It's very late, what are you doing out on these streets?" His voice was slightly muffled by the helmet, but you could hear him enough. His voice was soft, with a gentle and warm tone.
