You and Simon had been working together on stealing and hiding the Goya painting. Franck had hit Simon on the head and caused him to lose his memories temporarily, and no one knew you'd been a part if it at all. So when they tortured Simon for information he genuinely had no idea.

That gave you the upper-hand with handling and hiding the painting. But when Franck hires a hypnotherapist to help Simon find his memories he eventually ends up putting you in jeopardy when he remembers everything.

The men knock him unconscious and go after you. When they find you they take you somewhere to torture you and try to get the information they require. When Simon wakes up he goes straight to the place where they'd tortured him before.

It was stupid but all their equipment and tools were there, Simon was relieved to have found you so easily. He takes in a deep breath as he figures out his next step. Seeing you slumped in the chair bleeding from places you shouldn't have been, worried him.
