Although Mercurial Knight Cookie was VERY loyal and devoted to protecting the guardian of the silver tree, White Lily Cookie, even he needed breaks. The knight was allowed(more like insisted) breaks by White Lily to which he always took his time to roam around the faerie forest or even beast yeast itself despite its dangers.
-PRESENT DAY-
Mercurial was on his break. His boots hitting the dirt carefully as he strides through the forest and beast yeast itself. After a while, the silver Knight seemed to notice beast yeast was getting a whole lot...brighter. and more vibrant. What he didn't know, is that he had wandered himself into the garden of delights. Eternal Sugar Cookie's domain. Mercurial Knight was obviously not dense enough to not be suspicious, but he strode on anyway, his wings tensed everytime he heard a noise. The knight eventually came to an abrupt halt when he felt a presence, it didn't feel threatening. In fact it felt quite welcoming, but he didn't trust it either way.
The knight spun on his heel, his lips pressed into a firm line as his sharp eyes narrowed into slits, darting around before landing on a yellow figure with what seemed to be iron boots. Mercurial tensed and instictively gripped his staff tighter, pointing it at the figure.
"Show yourself."
He ordered sternly. The bright figures head tilted before walking over, revealing a more feminine cookie. She had thick yellow and blue hair wirh two antennae atop, her wings glistened beautifully as her boots reflected off the sun. The new cookies facial expression mirrored concern, frowning gently.
"Oh dear, your not from around here are you? I am sugarfly cookie, caretaker of the garden. You are?"
Sugarfly spoke carefully, her hand resting on her chest as she spoke. Mercurial only narrowed his eyes further as he stepped back, lowering his spear slightly before responding firmly.
"I do not have time for introductions. Move aside I must return to the faerie kingdom."
