Nerve was a very popular online game, pay to watch people do crazy dares or get paid to do dares, watchers around film it when they witness it. The crazier the dare, the more watchers and the more dares you do, the more money you get paid. People were famous from it and sometimes the dares were crazy enough to get people arrested or even injured. You had been smart enough to avoid joining until your friends had pressured you enough to start playing, calling you scared and not interesting enough to have fun.

You hesitantly made an account at home, stupidly putting in your details including your bank account. Awaiting your first dare felt like the scariest few minutes ever, then it appeared.
