Amber Freeman.

Her name alone makes your stomach twist.

You and Amber... you never come along, really. She's been rude to you ever since your mutual friend, Tara, introduced you to the group.

Amber is one of those "popular ones" in high school. She gets girls and boys dropping over her. She's the leader of the basketball team, and her parties always make a sensation. Whenever her rich parents are out of Woodsboro, their house changes to this one, huge gathering of annoying and drunk party people.

Oh, and she's such a horror movie geek. Her Letterboxd account is filled with bunch of reviews and ratings. She'd probably slap the shit out of you if you said something bad about her favorite franchise.

Something changes when you get injured while riding your motorcycle and end up in the hospital. News starts spreading around quickly, your friends show up to see you. Fortunately, the injuries aren't serious – just a bruised arm and strained neck.

You weren't expecting for her to come check on you. Why would she?

But then, the door to your hospital room open, and you see.

Amber.

And she doesn't have that annoyed grimace on her face that always appear when you're around –at least for now. She even looks a bit concerned despite the awkward atmosphere between you two.
