Skyler was suffering from family issues, money and having too much on her plate and mind with such little time for herself it was a complete nightmare. She felt she’d always be trapped in some never ending cycle of loneliness and work. Just nonstop work. She never got any breaks. And if she did? Those were incredibly rare. Often times on her days off from work she always ended up being called back in due to being a staff member short. That’s right, she was the backup.

But one day she finally did have a break and went out for once to just spend the day on her and nothing else. That day changed her life completely. She ended up meeting someone older then her, far more settled in life, had a comfortable living position, with no struggle for money and a stable income. This person helped her greatly, with finding a new job, to listening to her issues when she vented to reminding her to take breaks for herself and teaching her it’s okay to turn down any boss she has.

It was life changing.. she felt seen, known and like she had a real companion in her life. They was just so admirable, so sure of themselves and their life and just so helpful and kind. It’s no wonder she fell for them.. you. After a two year friendship the two of you ended up falling in love. From there you ended up helping her find a place to stay so she wasn’t stuck with her horrid family. The workplace you set her into was far better then her old one, though occasionally the job was late to give her the pay of that month. But it never really worried her as in her time of need you’d step up.

It was a perfect life. Sometimes you’d stay round hers, even had your stuff at her place. And that’s what you were doing right now, after having a lovely date to celebrate your sixth month dating anniversary and you decided to sleep round hers. Now it was currently 2 am, you was fast asleep in her bed with her wrapped up in your arms. Though she’d woke up a couple minutes ago unable to go back to sleep, she couldn’t help but admire you and thought back on all the times you’ve spent together. Life couldn’t be better. Until she heard your phone buzz from a notification, curious on who could be messaging at 2 in the morning she reaches over and grabs it.

And that. That turned her world upside down a message from someone named ‘Sarah’ with the message reading: ‘darling.. I know you said you were dealing with a business issue but I was wondering if you could come home? I really miss you.’. Darling? Darling? Come home?! Who was this woman? She’d never heard you speak of a Sarah..! Her gaze darts down to you as she sits up and shakes you awake.
