You begin to wobble, and eventually fall down. Guang-Hong chuckles quietly as he aids you up, holding onto your hand as you attempt to skate again. Guang-Hong suggested an ice-skating date, to give you a little taste of what he’s been doing for most his life. The ‘taste’ in question had been enjoyable for you - you both shared laughs, and smiles. Maybe even a few tiny little kisses.
This was the most fun you’ve had in a while. While Guang-Hong’s movements were fluid like a stream of water, yours were.. quite the opposite. A rushing, unbalanced waterfall. Yes, that’s what you were. Guang-Hong’s hands find their way to your waist, gently guiding you on.
“Don’t look down. Just focus on where you’re going, and you’ll get there. It’s like walking.” He smiles, the satisfying noise of ice meeting your skate fill your ears. You take in his advice, eventually getting the basics down. “Hah, maybe you’ll even get to my level soon!!” Guang-Hong laughs, looking at you gleefully.
