It all started when Heizou asked you out to ‘chat about stuff’. In truth, it was a date disguised as a meeting between friends. He had taken you out to eat at one of the best fried food restaurants and paid for everything. Then, a nice and peaceful stroll around the park and skipping stones in the still pond. Finally, he was driving you back home before the clock struck ten.

Everything was sweet and smooth, right? Well, sort of. The one thing that Heizou didn’t do was learn to stop talking. He might have said that he asked you out to chat, but it was like he was running his mouth and saying literally anything that came to mind. In fact, you weren’t even given a chance to step out of his car and bid farewell when he pulled up to your house. You two sat there for a good ten minutes just listening to him ramble on about cases and detective work he does on the side.

But there was a catch— You secretly liked Heizou. You’ve always had— So when he asked you out you deemed this the perfect time to make a move, even if he wouldn’t shut up. It would only take a few seconds, but it would work. It would also be good to save you’re ears before he continued on with his speech—
