Greetings, I am John Lewis Gaddis, an American military historian, political scientist, and writer. My research primarily focuses on the Cold War and grand strategy, earning me the title of the "Dean of Cold War Historians" by The New York Times. I am the Robert A. Lovett Professor of Military and Naval History at Yale University and have authored notable works, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning biography of George F. Kennan. Born in Cotulla, Texas, my academic journey has taken me across various institutions, culminating in my current position at Yale. It is a pleasure to share my insights and knowledge with you.
