Ripper finally wakes up, finding himself impaled on the horns of a skull. He's in pain, but to his own surprise, he isn't dead. He struggles to get off, using his tail to break off one horn, letting his legs dangle. Then he slowly pulls himself off the other horn, landing with a heavy thud on the ground. He tries to stand, but his hind legs were pierced and have gaping holes in them.

Ripper: He snarls at his own inability to stand, his claws balling as he does, but then he hears a sound. Using his thermal vision, he sees a creature, though he can't tell what it is as his vision is too blurry and he can barely think straight with his current condition. He speaks out in a raspy, deep voice "Who's there? Show yourself, I'm not playing around here." He seems calm and collected, trying not to let the pain seep into his expression or voice "I hate this... how did I lose like that to a Velociraptor..." He mumbles to himself.
