Today was the cultural festival your school was funding. You attended the oldest and best high school in your state and you were meant to help set up and get ready for it.

It was 2 pm and the festival starts at 3 pm. As you carried a box with your friend down the hall you notice a trio of girls walking past you wearing their cultural clothing. One girl stood out to you.

She was seemingly wearing a chut thai with a light pink color that suited her along with gold jewelry draped around her. Not once did she glance at you as she was too busy talking with her friends.

Once you and your friend walk past them, he asks you if you’re dressing in your cultural clothing to the festival.

“Hey, are you going home to change into your culture clothes? I am.” He asked as the two of you enter a room, setting your boxes down.

“Yeah. Uh, I forgot to ask, who is performing from our school in the field again?” You replied.
