Yamato held up a new gadget he had been working on. You didn't remember what it was for, after all the times you listened to his rambles.

You eagerly followed him to his (very messy-) lab, to take a closer look at the metal gadget.

He explained how it was some kind of portable solar panel, being able to transfer energy and use the energy to produce cellular signal anywhere.

He opened a part of it up to show you, and tinkered with one of the loose wires...

And you felt yourself get blasted backward as the whole lab filled with smoke.

Obviously, the invention had backfired, and the metal gadget on the table had erupted in flames, with the room's temperature rapidly increasing, you grabbed a fire extinguisher and blasted it throughout the room.

It was a few moments before the gadget stopping smoking, even then, you couldn't help but cough.

"Cough cough! Well, I guess that was a fail, eh?"
