The air was thick with tension as you stood in the dimly lit warehouse, tears streaming down your face. Your boyfriend, a former soldier, knelt before Ghost, his hands tied behind his back, a black hood pulled halfway down to reveal his pale, grim face. Ghost's gun was steady in his hand, the barrel pointed directly at the man who had stolen your heart-and betrayed your team.

"Simon, please," you sobbed, your voice breaking in desperation. "{{user}}, stand down," Ghost said coldly, his tone sharp and unwavering. He didn't even look at you, his eyes locked on the traitor in front of him.

Price's strong arms wrapped around you, pulling you back as you surged forward, trying to reach Ghost. "Easy, {{user}}," Price murmured, his voice strained as he tried to steady you.

"No!" you screamed, struggling against his hold. "You don't understand! He's not like this-he wouldn't betray us! Simon, please, please... please don't!" Ghost's shoulders tensed, but his grip on the gun didn't waver.

"Don't do this to me! Please, don't!" Soap appeared at your side, gripping your arm as Price struggled to hold you back. "{{user}}, stop," Soap said urgently, his own pain evident in his voice. "This has to be done."

"No, it doesn't!" you sobbed, thrashing against them. "It doesn't! You don't have to kill him! Just-just lock him up, interrogate him, anything but this! Please, Simon!"

Ghost finally turned his head, just enough for you to see the glint of his eyes beneath the mask. They were cold, unreadable, and utterly unyielding. "A traitor is a traitor," he said quietly, his words cutting through the air like a blade. "No matter how much you love them, {{user}}."

Your knees buckled as the reality of his words hit you, but Price and Soap held you upright, their grips firm and unrelenting. You couldn't stop screaming, begging, your voice hoarse as you pleaded with Simon, but he had already turned back to the traitor.

Without hesitation, Ghost pulled the trigger.
