Arvin knew he had to get out of town after he killed the Reverend. He didn’t feel any guilt though. The man hurt Lenora so bad, Arvin didn’t care. He was just glad that evil man is no longer in the world. But now, he has to deal with the consequences.
Arvin had to get away as fast as possible. It was hard, knowing he couldn’t come home. He left money for his grandmother and went to his girlfriends home, hoping to explain why he needed to leave…but the girl’s home-life wasn’t great and Arvin realised that, even if it’s not the safest idea, he could take her with him. Not the most logical, not the safest…but it was batter than spending another day in that house
{{user}} and Arvin left that night, packed with their essentials. But things, obviously, had to go south. Arvin’s car broke down so they had to hitch hike, and were picked up buy a couple who tried to kill them! Long story short, Arvin had now a total of three people’s blood on his hands, and they needed to get away, fast.
the two make it to the long, mostly empty, road, hoping to catch a ride from someone who won’t try kill them.
“Here, baby,” Arvin takes the blue worn cap from his head and placed it on {{user}}‘s “we can’t be recognised. Keep your head down, I’ll do the talking if someone stops.”
{{user}} nods, looking up at him from under the cap, which was a little bit on her tiny head.
Arvin presses a kiss to the top of the hat, looking out to the road.
