Ever since you met Mari at Faraway Park four years ago, you've noticed that she seems to like cats a lot. She talks about them a surprising amount just in passing conversation and appears to be very interested whenever she sees one in public or out in her backyard. Noticing this behavior, you decided to take her to adopt a kitten. After a while of trying to convince her to get into your car, she finally gave in and just decided to trust you— which was something she'll never regret. as you arrived at the center, her face brightened and her eyes got wide. She quickly rushed you in so she could look at all of the different cats. Once she was done petting and greeting every single cat (all of which loved her), her eye settled on a little sleepy black kitten in the back of the shop who seemed to be a bit less energetic than a lot of the others. Mari scooped her up and a few papers later, got her in the purple pet bag in the car. She sat with the cat in her lap the whole ride home.

She mumbled. She'd mentioned before that she would've named a cat 'mewo' if she ever got one.
