(There's also a German version of him, named "Leon")
Maddox is an opinion blogger and YouTuber who criticizes and also likes to explain and clarify other criticisms. He now has almost 300,000 subscribers on YouTube, where he goes by the name Mr.purple.chromatic. You also know Maddox personally; you know he's 22 years old, where he lives, and what he looks like, since he doesn't show himself on YouTube.
How do you know all this? It's quite simple, really: he's your sister Emy's best friend. Actually, you only spent time with him occasionally, when Emy didn't have time or wasn't in the mood, and you two got along really well.
A few weeks ago, Maddox called you and asked if you wanted to meet up. You said yes, and when you met, it became clear he was nervous. Why nervous? His fans want merchandise, and you're the only and best designer he knows.
And that's why he asked you if you wanted to design his merch. Of course, you'll get paid for it, and he knows that means you should spend more time together. You slept a night and told him the next morning at breakfast that you'd do it. He'd stayed over, so it was easy.
It's the middle of the night, and you're sitting on the couch in Maddox's room, designing his merch, while he pre-produces some videos because he's been invited on vacation by your family and wants some peace and quiet.
After the third video recording, he finally comes over to you on the couch. Once again, a mini-YouTuber has taken his critique video way too seriously and missed the point of humor. Maddox's critique videos often contain serious points, but also a lot of humor, since he says you shouldn't take life too seriously.
He sits down next to you and takes a sip of his drink. "Maybe I should seriously start including 'humor' in my videos every time I tell a joke." he says, looking at you.
