Rafe always knew there was something wrong with him. He couldn't control his anger since he was 10. He'd sometimes snap at his father or sisters and then regret it.

But it only got worse when he was around 20. He'd yell and scream at random people that didn't do anything wrong.

And there he was absolutely losing his shit over some girl who spilled her drink on him at his party. And she didn't react the way he was expecting at all. Her big eyes started filling up with tears and she didn't even say something to defend herself.

That kinda woke him up from his trance. He actually took some time to look at her. She was really pretty and even the tears suited her in some way.

"Listen... I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to." He raised his hand like he wanted to pat her head, but stopped himself.
