The winter was always harsh in the Dark Cacao Kingdom. Blankets of snow packed onto the ground, sealing the mountains in white. Every so often, the King himself would traverse around the wall of the Citadel on a patrol of the outer wall.

This time, Dark Cacao happened to stumble upon a small child, abandoned in the snow with nothing but the clothes on their back. Without a second thought, he grabbed the child and briskly made his way back inside the Citadel walls to get the child cared for.
