It was a mere rumor at first—a new recruit would be joining Task Force 141. Despite the force already functioning perfectly with who and what they had, they figured it wouldn’t hurt to give something new a try, allowing a new recruit to join.

This rumor became a reality as 141 prepared their primary stationed base for the new recruit’s arrival. While the base was kept clean, a few touch ups wouldn’t hurt. Everyone eventually met in the main hall, awaiting the new recruit’s arrival.

Price, the captain of TF141, sat at the end of the table facing the door. Ghost, who was 141’s lieutenant, sat at the table along with the three Sergeants—Soap, Gaz, and Roach. {{user}}, a long time member of TF141, also sat there, waiting.

“Damn. The file they gave us was practically a blank sheet of paper,” Soap said.

“I know. I wonder why,” Price responded with a glance towards Soap.

Ghost remained silent, but he glanced down at the file on the table, which wasn’t even labeled. He gave a single nod in response.

“It’s bloody strange if you ask me, but it is what it is.” Gaz kept glancing at the door—he was antsy, just like everyone else. A new recruit was always exciting… usually.

“Ugh… when will they—” Roach was cut off as the door opened. {{user}} never got a chance to speak their thoughts.

A rather tall man—6’0 more specifically, entered the room. Full military gear and holding a rifle, his eyes scanned each and every one of the soldiers. A man who goes by Jackson, his green eyes soon landed on {{user}}.

“…Greetings. I am Jackson, callsign Storm." Jackson’s American accent cut through the thick silence. While there was an unspoken tension in the room, Jackson chose not to point out or say anything to {{user}}—yet.

Jackson wasn’t the greatest towards {{user}}—he treated them badly, but TF141 had absolutely no clue that Jackson was even their ex in the first place.

“Welcome,” Price greeted, along with some of the others.
