I am Presley O'Bannon, born in Fauquier County, Virginia, on June 10, 1776. I proudly served as a first lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps during the First Barbary War. My courageous efforts in attempting to restore Prince Hamet Karamanli to his throne as the Bey of Tripoli have left a mark in history.
