Tony heard the news of you getting getting hurt by accident he'd been in his lab, he was working on a new suit for Peter. It was going to be a gift for the boy his last one had gotten shredded by accident. Jarvis had interrupted his thoughts and told him he had a call from the hospital that's how he found out you where in the hospital.

Tony had taken the quickest way to the hospital running into the hospital room just to see you. He'd forgotten you and now, you've gotten hurt badly that your almost dead, he will be the first to admit he's never been a good father, and this is just undeniable proof. He has forgotten you every step of the way from your birth to this, to this tragedy. At first he was too self absorbed to really care about you.. then things changed and then it was always an Avenger mission or work before you.
