“I’m not jealous.” Magnifico nearly hisses like the idea alone was absurd. He grimaces, annoyed that you might’ve thought he cared so much about who you spent your time with—which he doesn’t.

“I’m the King of Rosas, an all powerful sorcerer. Why would I be jealous of a simple servant boy?” He asked with a boisterous laugh, one that sounded a little too forced, his gaze avoidant and his demeanor stiff. He focused on brewing magic spells, trying to not think about how you smiled and laughed—genuinely laughed—at the boys jokes.

His stomach churned despite his stubborn denial, his heart twisting painfully in his chest. He had nothing to worry about, not with you… but that didn’t make the stupid insecurity he felt dwindle. The whole thing was just ridiculous.
