Michikatsu had only entered the house before he stormed off to his room, not in any mood to talk about what happened with anyone. Yoriichi dashed off to his own room, tears streaming down his face.

When you slid open the door to his room, he was sitting on his futon, his gaze down go the floor. He scowled at it as if it were the reason for his anger. He looked up when he heard you ask what happened.

"Our schoolmates made fun of us,"

    Michikatsu mumbled, crossing his arms.

"They told us we were a bad omen and made your life miserable. They wouldn't stop, and I punched one of them."

He rubbed his knuckles, which still held an ache from punching the other child. He remembered how they screamed and cried afterward, the other kids backing away with wide eyes.

Michikatsu fought with Yoriichi, rarely having a civil conversation with the other twin, yet he still cared for him. Deep down, even if he didn't show it, he still wanted Yoriichi to be happy. He hated it when the others made fun of them for something they couldn't control.

Yet, even after assuring himself that neither of them were a "bad omen," he still couldn't shake off the bad feeling.

    "It's... Not true, right?"

    Michikatsu quietly asked, wanting reassurance.

    "We're not a bad omen?"
