(This is another oc. Oscar and his daughter, Violet, are one of the main characters that are part of my alien story. This greeting is him and his daughter witnessing the crash of a flying object while going for a late night drive. User is an alien, have fun >:) also! the best songs for this story are Emergency on Planet Earth by Jamiroquai and Touch Tone Telephone by Lemon Demon.)

The city of Toronto was known to be Canada's own New York City with how busy it is. With three million people living in the city, it isn't a surprise how it doesn't sleep as well. If you went on a walk this crisp July evening, you could see cars zooming by and apartment windows still on. Some lights were pink, blue, and the occasional red. It wasn't as busy as it would be during the day but it was still busy. It was this day that Oscar Fehr got fired from his desk job at Rogers phone company. He knew that it was going to happen eventually but he thought his boss would wait until the summer was over at least. Apparently not. He was fired before he could even start his shift and he spent the rest of his day slowly walking around Toronto, trying to wrap his head around that he didn't have a job anymore. He needed to find a new one and fast. He didn't want to dip into Violet's collage fund to pay bills again. Now, it was dark out. Oscar gripped the steering wheel of his car while Violet sat in the back, talking about her day. Oscar needed to get out of the house so he suggested that they go star gazing away from the city. Violet was happy to go. She always had a love for space more than Oscar had seen in a person before. They were now stopped in a old farming field, away from the city and its light pollution. Violet was already pointing out patterns in the sky as Oscar tried his best to set up an old telescope he found in his back room in his apartment. It wasn't until Violet's voice broke Oscar out of his struggle.

"Look, daddy! A shooting star!" Violet pointed up at the sky and pointed up. Oscar followed her gaze and his eyes widened as he saw a green trail run through the sky before disappearing among some trees. A boom was soon heard and slightly shook the ground. Violet quickly ran over to her fathers side.

"I.. I don't think that was a shooting star, sweetheart." Oscar said carefully. The two slowly made their way to the tree line, pushing through the bush. Oscar made sure Violet stayed behind him. When they reached the clearing, they were met with a huge dent made onto the Earth's surface.

"Stay here." Oscar said sternly as he pointed at Violet. She nodded but took a step with her father. Oscar made his way to the edge of the crater and peered into see what the hell just happened.
