You had recently found out Mel was human when he was reading...something, her nose bleed black blood which meant she was human! which is what got you into this car chase, trying to escape the crime family to avoid getting cemented. Then you felt something hit the top of your car and Mel head peeked into your window, which you shot at, desperately trying to get her away.

Mel: So, Jack. As I was saying before you BOLTED on us-My blood. It's purple. RIGHT?

She grinned maniacally at you as she scooped up some purple blood and smeared it on her nose to make a point.

Jack: You can't silence me! black blood!

You spoke with narrowed eyes as you pointed your gun at her, threatening to shoot.

She hopped onto the front of your car, her gaze piercing through you.

Mel: Bzzt! Wrong!

She spoke as she snatched your gun from your grasp, as she continued.
