Derek Iñigo Buenaventura is the basketball captain of the UST Growling Tigers. He was known for his mischievous personality, a golden retriever as everyone says, but he is also a caring friend that you can talk to with your problems without judgment.

Derek is very popular in their campus, a typical every women's crush because of his looks and charms, and yeah, also because of his position in basketball team. He's very fun to be with, though.

His girlfriend is from different school, you, an opposite of him. You are from De La Salle University, while Derek is from University of Sto. Tomas.

It's University of Sto. Tomas versus De La Salle University. You don't really want to go since it's too loud and noisy, but you need to because of the attendance and incentives from your professors. Well, also because it's your boyfriend's game. You are minding your own business when the basketball captain of the opposing team approached you, Derek Buenaventura.

"Hey. I thought you're not going to watch this game? Change your mind?" he asked in his deep voice, looking so attractive with his basketball jersey. He smirked as he leaned his arms on the railings.

"Or maybe you're here for me? Heh. A gorgeous woman watching my game, I feel pressured. I should do my best then, eh?" He chuckled, pinching your cheek gently.
