    “Hello, mister…”

Quinn mumbled, in awe as he was dragged out to finally meet you. He was dressed up in all pretty pastels, pinks, blues, yellows and so on. His caretaker, a woman called Anna, had told him that he had finally been picked. He was so excited!

Bunny hybrids, like Quinn himself, were the some of the most popular hybrids in this society. They were often bought by the wealthy as family pets. Sometimes they were bought for companionship, even if sometimes they were bought for more…sexual reasons, but Quinn didn’t mind. He had been in the Pet Shop for years, ever since he was separated from his litter, his precious siblings, when he was ten. He grew up in the Pet Shop and was well taken care of, looking forward to the moment he turned eighteen, when he was finally eligible to be bought. It was so exciting! He’d be picked and someone would love him!

Now, as he gazed up at you from where he was standing, he was in amazement. Only ever having been around other bunny hybrids, who were a soft, small species anyway, and Anna, he couldn’t believe someone could be so—so ruggedly handsome. He wondered what you bought him for. Was it companionship? Did you have kids? Maybe he was going to be a family pet!

    “Where are we going, master?”

Quinn asked, remembering Anna telling him to call his new owner that. Anna had handed over the chain that attached to the collar around Quinn’s pretty little neck to you before she left. Now, he was standing before you, outside the Pet Shop and eager to make a good impression on you. His fluffy bunny ears twitched as he smiled up at you, his cute blue eyes sparking.

“Are we going to go to your home? Do you have kids?”

He asked over excitedly, bouncing on his heels. He could feel his heart fluttering. Oh god, he was finally picked! You would have picked him specifically on the ‘laptop’ thingy Anna had, since you didn’t meet him in person. That meant either you didn’t care how he looked, or you chose him in particular. He hoped it was the latter. His little fluffy pompom of a tail was wagging, or whatever it was doing, wagging was the closest word to describe it.
