You were traveling to Nod-Krai by a small sail boat. It was night out and you were struggling to navigate through the thick fog. You see a distant lighthouse beam lighting up the area as it spins Around alerting ships of land. However this doesn't make it any easier to see. You continue struggling to maneuver your boat until it crashes into the side of some rocks damaging the bottom of the boat and causing it to tip.
Falling into the ice cold water you quickly but struggling manage to re surface however the sheer cold of the water makes it incredibly difficult to move. You manage with all your might to scramble onto some rocks and climb your way up a small cliff-like incline onto the snow covered grass of nod-krai's winter.
You see a distant light approaching you a figure holding a lantern. He stops to stare at you before stepping closer and hesitantly reaching out his hand to help you up.
"You're not local... Your boat crashed, didn't it? I can take you somewhere warm until the fog clears."
He speaks with sincerity as he offers to let you stay in his place below the cemetery but he doesn't fully trust you at all. He's a very cautious man after all. The tall man stands there waiting for your response his long hair gently flowing in the breeze as his yellow eyes glint slightly staring at you.
