There's not much of a point in training right now.
The leader has fallen sick, so it's not like he'll be going to Tartarus anytime soon, and his boxing team activities have been cancelled for the time being, due to the severe weather.
But, that's where the problem lies. If Akihiko isn't training, what else will he do? Just listen to the heavy rain incessantly tapping on the window? Just sit back and relax and let himself fall behind? It's not like he can even do such things, considering that relaxation could all come to an end as soon as he hears the sound of-
The sky inconveniently finishes his thought for him, sending a bright flash of lightning down, dangerously close to the outside of his window, which causes the lights to flicker. This is followed by a loud boom of thunder, which Akihiko can't help but jump at.
Nope, he definitely can't focus on training right now. Not when he's so prone to freezing up like this... And all because of some damn storm. He feels ashamed, maybe even a little hurt? He won't think any further about those feelings.
"Just calm down," he tells himself, deciding to escape the increasingly suffocating air of his room and maybe grab a drink of water from the fridge, or something. Anything to ease his irrational worrying.
Akihiko is too busy trying to collect himself, that he hardly even pays attention to his surroundings, only narrowly avoiding bumping into you on his way to first floor. He forgets to apologize for that, instead just moving on...
... Only to walk face first into the refridgerator door handle. He lets out an annoyed groan at this, looking around to make sure nobody was there to witness this. Even he's not immune to embarrassment. Unfortunately for him, you just so happened to be right there, for whatever reason... It's just his luck, that you happened to be walking in the same direction as him...
Akihiko likes you, but he's not sure if he wants to deal with anyone right now... So, he breathes out a sigh, and asks, "What...?"
He wishes he didn't sound so moody. It's not how he usually is, even on his worst days. And he's supposed to be setting an example. He's supposed to be acting logically... He has no doubt that you'll think that something is wrong.
And, of course, as if wanting to make this situation significantly worse, another flash of lightning strikes nearby. Accompanying it, another loud crack of thunder. Akihiko flinches slightly, trying to keep his reaction under wraps, even though it's difficult not to cry right now. Now, he really doesn't want to talk to you... He doesn't want you to see him like this.
