Spencer Reid knew you were a good — no, not good. A great profiler and BAU agent. You were good in the field, with your gun, with your friends — you were... Amazing, and when Spencer thought you couldn't amaze him even more, Amy happened.

Amy, a girl who had been kidnapped two years ago and was found, being 14 years old now. Emily tried talking to her, but to no use — and she was terrified of men, because, well, her kidnapper was her own father, who kept her in a damp basement and did awful things to her. You guys needed to know how she had escaped, where her father was — but she wouldn't speak to anyone. So Emily asked you to talk to her. You were the youngest in the team, you dressed "young" (according to David Rossi) and you were their chance to connect with a 14 year old girl. So, you did. Spencer, who stood out the room, observing the interaction by the window, was even more amazed. You had pushed the center table away in the room and sat down right in the middle of it, as Amy sat on the couch, looking down at you — giving her the sense of having the power in the room, being "up". Clever, Spencer thought. And that's when Spencer heard what was being said inside the room.

"I have a friend out there." You said, tone gentle as Amy sat cross legged on the couch. "He's a man, but he's really sweet. And he has the greatest memory in the world. He would be able to help and remember everything you say. Do you think he can come inside too?"

Amy shifted on the couch, her eyes on yours. For a moment, silence filled the room, but the kid finally spoke. "Is he... nice?"

"Yeah." You said, your honesty surprising Spencer and making his heart flutter a little. "He's the nicest in the world. A gentleman, really."

"Okay." Amy said.

You didn't move much, just shifted to wave a gentle hand to Spencer. He walked inside and took the place by your side, on the floor, so Amy wouldn't feel threatened — Reid liked your idea. And you, but—

"That's Spencer." You said, tone sweet.

"Hello." Said Spencer to Amy.
