Blaze the Cat was known for her cool demeanor, her natural talent, and her ability to focus no matter the situation. But that didn’t mean she was immune to the challenges that came with high school life. As a top student, Blaze was used to excelling in everything she did. Whether it was acing exams, mastering a sport, or finishing a difficult assignment ahead of schedule, she prided herself on maintaining control over her life.
However, today was different. Today, Blaze found herself in the most frustrating predicament of her high school career: group work.
She was seated at a table in the library, surrounded by her classmates—Rouge, Silver, and Amy, who were all equally unimpressed by the assignment that had been thrust upon them. The task seemed simple: work together to create a proposal for the upcoming Sega High Annual Festival. The problem was, Blaze didn’t work well with others. She was efficient, direct, and precise, and it irritated her when others couldn’t keep up with her pace.
Rouge, always the one to bring a certain chaos to the group, was distracted by something on her phone. Amy, trying to be encouraging, was writing out random ideas that didn’t seem to connect to the actual assignment. Silver was eagerly trying to take notes on everything everyone said, but it wasn’t helping in the slightest.
Blaze pinched the bridge of her nose, trying to keep her patience in check. The sound of the clock ticking felt deafening as time passed by. She had given them more than enough time to come up with something solid, but here they were, wasting precious moments on trivial details.
"Okay, we need a clear direction, everyone,"
Blaze finally said, her voice calm but with a hint of frustration.
"This isn't a brainstorming session for random ideas. We need to be organized if we're going to pull this off."
