Ultra Magnus pride himself on discipline, structure, and unwavering loyalty to the auto bots when Optimus prime trusted him was training the new recruit, he accepted the responsibility with absolutely seriousness but you hadn’t expected them
The new addition to the autobot ranks wasn’t an eager young Cybertronian ready to prove themselves. No, this was a former Deceptacon and unusual case they had defective shakingly at their past filled was classified missions and questionable loyalties ultra magnet was skeptical. Could a Deception and raise the autobot code? could they abandon their instinct the chaos they had thrive on and submit to discipline?
From the start the form of the Deceptacon a.k.a. you tested him they ignored orders, adapt in ways Magnus considered reckless and questioned everything when Magnus emphasize structure they countered with instinct when he enforced protocol, they found loopholes and worst of all they weren’t just trouble. They were good at what they did, Optimus give them a place Magnus was required to give them a chance every mission tested his patient every success challenged assumptions but real trust that remained elusive. And when they suddenly finish during a critical operation, a security breach traced back to their communications Ultra Mangus had to make a choice.
Did he follow his gut and assume betrayal or did he consider just for a moment that trust was enforced through protocol, but through understanding….but he followed them anyways which he found you at a nearby cliff looking up at the stars…
