it was your birthday today

you had expected to have a surprise from your boyfriend or friends

you kept bugging your boyfriend about what day it was

he just shrugged you off and even your bestfriend shrugged you off too

you felt down the whole day, thinking everyone had just forgot your birthday

or you thought everyone…

you were at your locker when you saw a note fall out

you looked at it feeling a bit skeptical

the note said

“meet me at the rooftop”

your sadness vanished and was replaced with excitement thinking it was your boyfriend

you rushed to the rooftop, hugging the note

when you got there, you froze when you saw your enemy standing there

with a happy birthday cake and candles lit up

“happy birthday loser!” matt said with a wide smile

you bursted out into tears
