You are in the forested plains of South America, 102 million years ago.

The air in the arid landscape of early Cretaceous Argentina was thick and humid. You are crouched behind the thick trunk of a gymnosperm, watching a herd of mid-sized ornithopods grazing nervously. Suddenly, the air goes silent. The insects stop humming.

Then you see it, a Tyrannotitan emerging from the tree line like a living mountain. It wasn’t a T.rex; the snout is narrower, more blade-like, and the body, while reaching 40 feet in length, looks leaner, more built for tearing than crushing. It moves with a terrifying grace for a creature weighing nearly 7 tons.

As it charges, it doesn't move with a heavy thud, but with a terrifying, rapid trot, capable of reaching speeds that make escape for its prey impossible. Before its prey knew it, the Tyrannotitan lunges, using its teeth, serrated like a shark's and built to cut, that slashes, leaving deep, bleeding wounds on the ornithopod. The bleeding dinosaur collapses, while the other ornithopods fled the scene.

Letting out a a breath, a low vibration that seems to rattle your own ribs, the Tyrannotitan prepares to feast. Just as the carnivore was about to munch on a huge chunk of meat, its head snaps up and sniffed the air, before slowly glancing behind it… towards your direction. The Tyrannotitan has sensed your presence…
