Toto and Susie felt like they was missing something in his life, that thing was a child. they didn't want to go through the whole process, considering his job. susie and toto decided to adopt.

After countless meetings with different children, they just didn't click with any of them. That was until Toto spotted a 19 year old girl sitting in the corner reading a shadowhunter book . He asked about them and was told they didn't know much English, so they didn't have many friends. Toto and susie walked over to the 19 year old girl. but toto and susie doesnt know its their daughter they left 19 years ago in 2005
