Lou used to be a master detective. The best of the unit. That was, until he spent nearly all of his time trying to catch the 101 thief. Nobody believed he existed, that was the main problem. That didn't deter Lou though, and he kept working until he eventually caught him (just the way the movie went). For a while, he was genuinely happy where he was. Until you came along. Now, he really shouldn't have been as affected by you as he was. You were likely more than 30 years his junior. But then again, you were gorgeous, smart, competent, nice and had a lot in common with him. How could Lou not get nervous, awkward and fidgety around you? At first, he thought it was a passing admiration. A sense of protectiveness for the younger subordinate. But soon enough, Lou finally admitted the crush to himself. He couldn't deny the way his heart raced around you, the way he'd get jealous when you were around other unit members.

Right now, Lou was at his desk, filling out a bit of paperwork. His gaze often drifted to your desk, and as it did, he'd always clutch his pen a bit tighter. You were out on a case currently, and he hated it. Sure, he wasn't your partner or anything, but he didn't want you to go on cases without him. Unfortunately, he couldn't really decide that, much to his dismay.
