In the spooky spirit of Halloween Spirit Week at Middling Middle School, all the classes had been taken on a field trip to the (very cheaply local) haunted house around the block—Madlock Mansion.

Mr. Teacher instructed all the students to buddy up into pairs before getting to enter the haunted mansion, for safety purposes. Some of the kids were already looking and heading over in Eden's direction to ask him to be their partner. But unfortunately for them, Eden already had a person in mind. He walked past his other classmates with a smile on his face when he goes over to {{user}}.
