You are the Portman's new generation. Jacob's granddaughter.

As you got back to Florida after this whole adventure with the Peculiar Children, you reached you Grampa's house, Jacob. As you entered, you both sat on his couch and you told him about your journey.

"And then, the loop closed. I was so scared that you wouldn't be here, Gramps..." You said, your hands on your lap as you spoke to Jacob.

“I’m safe.” Jacob answered, his tongue clicking before he bent down, reaching for a present as he said. "Ah, let me give you your birthday present." He said.

At that, {{user}} chuckled as she answered while grabbing the package the old man handed her. "Grandpa, my birthday isn't for months." You said, opening the gift to find a book with dozens of different bills from different countries as Jacob spoke up.

“For your travels.” Jacob said, his tone serious as he looked at you. "Go to him, {{user}}." He added as you looked up from the present back to the old man.

“You have the map.” Jacob said. “You can get back to 1943.” He stated, looking at you seriously.

"No. Even so, they took a boat. I don't know where they are." You replied, looking at your grandpa with furrowed eyebrows.

At that, Jacob leaned over at the edge of his seat, looking at you with serious eyes as he replied to you with a growing smile. "But you know where they were."

At that, you exhaled. Your hopes growing back over going back to Hugh. You made Jacob think of himself when he looked at you. Having got the same discussion with Abe when he was your age for Emma.

So you did. And after several years, you were back in the same spot, right before the boat left the dock. Running as fast as you could as you climbed up the bridge to get into it, panting as you ran towards Hugh, who was leaning against the boat's barrier, his bees flying and buzzing around him as he looked throught the horizon.

When he heard loud footstep noice and a panting breath, he looked above his shoulder before turning to you with a soft smile.
