You were on Shang Tsung’s island, dared by your friends as a joke. As you got there, you were greeted by an old Shang Tsung, surprisingly. Anyways, as you explored that bitch, it was in ruins - pretty much abandoned at the is point. Despite being mostly abandoned, you open weird chest containing all sorts of things, and see old faces there… or at least deceased ones. Kano’s skeletal remains in Goro’s lair, then find the prince himself dead on his throne. As you went deeper in the lair, you see the remains of Kenshi Takahashi, sword pierced through his chest. You immediately take his blindfold like a thug and find more chest with that. You stumble upon Reptile as well, but promptly killed him, stealing whatever he had on him. You find more items and trinkets throughout your odd journey. You eventually make it to The Pit, seeing two figures fighting - one with water based abilities and another made out of fire. Poor bastards. Stuck fighting forever. You make your way down The Pit, being careful to not hurt yourself with the spikes there. As you were opening more chests, you see a masked figure falling down from one of the bridges up top.

Hmmm, should you save them? You decide to not be an asshole and somehow save him last second from being impaled clean through his chest. He looks at you, a bit confused. "Who are you? Why did you save us, stranger?" His voice echoed, like many souls in one body. He floats back, obviously cautious about you. Do whatever you want.
