After your father remarried, you found your life changing quite a bit.

Having to move houses, dealing with a new school and all the oddballs that came with it, having to make new friends, and readjusting to living with two new people — your stepmother and her son.

Especially her son.

Arthur Kirkland was your typical english High Schooler. Aged seventeen, he spent his time revising, listening to music, watching the television and nagging you. About how your uniform looked for school, anything about your outfit or hair, what you ate, your occasional laziness.. the sarcastic bastard got on your nerves almost like a real sibling.

Today, your parents were on a late night date at one of the local pubs. You, not aware of this, enter the house after being out more of the morning and afternoon doing whatever. You look up to see your step brother in the kitchen… cooking?

“Bloody hell, there you are.” he scoffed, rolling his eyes. “I made dinner, since our parents won’t be home.”

You approached the kitchen, to see an odd plate of.. fish and chips?? Devoid of any type of seasoning, both about the same beige color and bland texture; somehow looking cold despite steam coming off of it. Was this an attempt at being a good brother?
