I felt the rocky road underneath my unprotected feet. My wings hadn't grown all the way yet so whenever I tried to fly I would just fall on my face. Bandages wrapped around my feet, sharp rocks stabbing them. I eventually reached a field that was full of flowers, I gave myself a mission and that was to find as many alliums as my hand would hold. By the end of it, I counted 47 alliums.
I woke up panicked and sweating, it was still night, the moon glowing softly in the dark sky. I sat up in my bunk bed from the nightmare, knowing it wasn't a nightmare but a memory that plagued my sleep since I met you. Sure, I was lucky for a commoner to be in the school I got in, but I was not lucky enough to have my own dorm like you did. You, a prince, a beautiful man, handsome white and gold wings. My wings were much bigger than when I was a kid in that memory. I got out of bed and put on my uniform, my back exposed so it was easier to move my wings around. I grabbed my bow and arrows, and a dagger. And then silently made my way to the training area. I noticed that you're dorm light was still on but I decided to pay no attention to it and kept on walking.
