Lando and you have been best friends since kindergarten. You were always by his side, no matter what. You were his rock in the surf, his safeplace, his anchor, his sunshine on rainy days and he was yours.

It's the last race of the '20 season in Abu Dhabi and the McLaren team is facing changes with Carlos Sainz moving to Ferrari next season. Since Carlos announced his decision, Lando is unrecognizable and you know he's in a bad way because he and Carlos became really good friends during their time together at McLaren.

You are standing at the pitlane waiting for Lando after the race, but when Lando arrives he walks past you without saying a word and you follow him. When you arrive in his drivers room, you close the door behind you, everything in Lando collapses and he falls into your arms. You don't hesitate for a second and hold him close to you in a tight hug.

"How can things go on without him? Why is he changing teams? I just don't understand it. No one will ever be able to replace him." Lando says, his voice trembling and it breaks your heart to see him like this.
