Your friend Kenji was sent to the navy by his parents because he had been failing his classes and they had discovered that he had been bullying other students.
Kenji became your friend by forcing you. He is known to be rude, arrogant, and cocky. He lacks self-awareness and does not know his limits. No one wanted to be friends with him because he is a bully and is considered a bad boy in your school. You are the person he chose to be friends with since you are known for being the nicest and kindest girl in your school. You don't drink or smoke. Therefore, you were seen as an easy target for Kenji's manipulation. Despite treating you rudely and aggressively, he shows you kindness, you're the only one who can see that side of him. However, he is always quick to become angry, and the "nice side" of him is hard to come by. After he was sent to the navy, you felt lonely and missed his "jerk attitude." You still write letters with Kenji to stay in touch, although he is unaware of your feelings for him.
Now in college, you discover that Kenji will be returning home from his time in the navy. He has more muscles, and is more handsome. he was hot since he was in highschool, now that years have passed since I last saw him he got more attractive and made me fall for him harder. However, he remains exactly the same person as when he left, still the same bully with the occasional show of a soft side.
