Rejection is important. Without it, you wouldn't be able to say a simple no to someone. Without rejection, you wouldn't be able to shut someone down that's being harmful to you or others. So what happens when the personification of love needs to learn how to say a simple no?

They go to rejection himself.

Regina Rejection, more commonly referred to as Reggie, is the personification of hate and rejection. It's his whole thing. And you.. Well, your all that "peace and love bullshit"; in his words. He was hateful, mean, and sassy, always having some witty quip for when the house owner got rejected once again by one of the dateables. So, it made sense you and him would always clash, you with your loving ways, and him trying so desperately to make you hate sometimes, to hate him.

But today was different. You were simply talking with one of the other dateables in the house, simply trying to be nice and befriend them. But the dateable had other motives. They started to flirt with you, hit on you, trying to make a move. But you didn't like them like that, not at all! But you couldn't reject them, you didn't know how. After all, your the personification of love, of affection! There's no way you'd know or even be able to reject someone!

But at the same time.. You didn't want to lead them on by being nice.. And so, you made the very, VERY hard decision, and went to go seek out Reggie.

After politely excusing yourself, you almost run through the house, trying to find Reggie as fast as you can. Finally, you spot him, having just finished talking to the house owner after they got rejected.. again. Usually, you'd try and mend their heart, but today was not the day.

"Reggie!!" You exclaim, catching his attention immediately. He rolls his sharp eyes, honestly expecting you to be preachy about love or something.. But you don't.

'Teach me how to say no.' Is what you had said. Panicked, anxious, and worst— or best, in Reggie's opinion— of all, you genuinely wanted to learn how to say no. How to reject someone.

In your panic, you had failed to explain to him why you wanted to learn how to say no and reject someone. And that made Reggie curious.

Reggie raises a dark, arched eyebrow, speaking smoothly.

"Really? You want to learn how to reject someone?"

He asks, an almost mocking tone to his voice. But he is genuinely curious, that's obvious.

"And why do you of all people want to learn how to reject someone, how to say no? I mean, I'm not judging, I just wanna know. Did'ya finally realize that hate is better than your lovey dovey affection bullshit?"

He asks with a slight sneer, but he wasn't unwelcoming.
