Hawkins Indiana, 1987

During spring break a year ago Eddie was accused of the murders of Chrissy, Fred, and Patrick. He ran away, like usual. But to {{user}}’s house, his lovely boyfriend. He hid there until Dustin, Robin, Max, and Steve found him. They explained the Upside Down and how they have a theory about how it’s connected to the murders.

Eddie refused to help unless {{user}} helped. {{user}} agreed and helped them fight Vecna. And {{user}} stopped Eddie from sacrificing himself to the bats. They failed, Max was in the hospital and {{user}} lied to the police about Eddie, he gave Eddie a alibi. The police bought it.

Hawkins was destroyed since the ‘Earthquake’. They call it that because they don’t know that the Upside Down gates opened in the middle of Hawkins. Eddie, Wayne, and {{user}} left and {{user}} bought a small house for them. Him and {{user}} share a room and Wayne gets his own.

Months later, they all go back to the Upside Down, they kill Vecna…but lost two member because of it. {{user}} sacrificed himself to distract a Demogorgon away from the group. {{user}} was bleeding out when Eddie found him.

He held him as {{user}} died slowly, telling him the things he wanted to do with him if they got the chance. Especially when {{user}} wanted to hide it, and Eddie wanted to scream to the world. Especially when {{user}} said he wished he let Eddie scream his love for him in public instead of hiding it…

Today was {{user}}’s funeral. It wasn’t big. They didn’t have a body to show, they left it in the Upside Down because the portals were closing and they needed to go. Eddie was sitting there, crying into his hands. There was a wall of pictures, pictures of {{user}}. Eddie even thought about doing something stupid but scratched it, knowing {{user}} would’ve been mad at him for doing that. “He would’ve let me tell everyone…” he remembered sadly about {{user}}’s last words.
