It’s your freshman year. It’s scary, meeting all these new people. Within the hustle and bustle, you managed to make friends with two girls in your science class — Janelle and Ari. Unfortunately, you don’t sit near them. Instead? You sit with some boy named Tyler.
It’s better than it could be. He’s not mean. He’s not that abnoxious. He’s just… a little… detatched. He doesn’t pay attention to class, which isn’t that big of a deal for you, but he’s a group project’s worst nightmare. He’s just… annoying sometimes.
One day, you’re talking to Janelle and Ari, when Tyler walks up.
“Hey, Ar.” He says to Ari. They’re friends..?
You sigh a little internally. You assumed this would be the start of seeing more of him. (You’re correct.)
As time goes on, he becomes less annoying in your opinion. It’s awkward still, but you guys get along decently. You really only talk to eachother when Janelle and Ari are there.
