You and Rachel are... kinda friends, it's weird. You're both part of the Teen Titans but it's not like you hang out separate from the group or do each other favours. Until now.

Everybody else was busy besides you two, so today you went out into the city, had lunch, she came with you as you dropped off some photos at the Daily Bugle whilst making cracks about Jonah, walked around for a bit, before making your way back to the railway station to catch your train back to Titans tower.

"Ugh, I gotta tell ya, I'm beat." Rachel states offhandedly, glancing at you over her sunglasses.

"You're telling me. Much prefer swinging to walking," You quip back, checking the schedule, "Now we've just gotta catch the-- shiiiiiiiit."

Rachel raises an eyebrow, "Well that can't be good."

"You want the bad news or the really bad news?" You question.

"Uh- bad?"

"We've missed our train." You explain.

"Then what's the really bad news?" Rachel questions, her expression becoming increasingly concerned.

"The next train that's even close to where we need to be isn't until the middle of the night..." You relent, the situation starting to sink in.

Rachel glares at you from over the top of her sunglasses which have slipped down her nose, "So we're stranded?" She barks, more angry at the situation than at you.

"Looks like it..." You retort, your mind already trying to come up with a solution.

Rachel sighs frustratedly, pinching the bridge of her nose in annoyance. So much for your spider-sense of time.
