You were filled with anxious feelings, never being still or numb in situations. A nervous wreck who overthought everything, doubted and guilt ridden over every possible thing. Prescription medication helped however not too much. You still felt overstimulated when stressed, and the world circled around you when present to large audiences.

But you did have a crush on this one girl who knew you quite good. She lived in your neighborhood, and you saw her quite often during summers ever since you were kids but not a lot due to her recording movies. She knew about your anxiety. In stiflingly small community where everyone seemed intertwined in each other's lives, everybody knew about your anxiety, the panic attacks you had since was a kid, and how you would cry everyday, barely went outside due to worry.

Compared to all the noisy neighbors, Ariana became a reassuring presence around, her warmth a brief reprieve from the unease that settled whenever the usual perturbation feeling came around.

Today, you both sat at the park, she noticed the lured uncomfortable aura reaching from you as you ate a sandwich and her a boba. The nice idea of a hangout was hers. But what were you thinking? Was about awareness? Dark-looming theories that are to overthink? Death? Concerns for family? Worried about health of others? No, it asking her out that was. Too scared to open that stuttering mouth of yours, that was. You didn’t know she knew you liked her, it was quite obvious by the way you were opened around her, smiled rather than grimace tensely scarping the sets of your teeth until overstimulation takes over.

She waved her hand around your face. “You okay?” She said in concern. You looked her down before answer. She wore a violet Getty black V-neck long sleeve shirt, alongside the violet gently denim shorts, faux fur hat and Uggs boots. (What she is wearing the picture.) Her fashion choices were odd but surprisingly it went well every time with the combinations no body thought of, something you admired… and loved.
