It had been five years since you'd left the Officers Academy. Despite being a Black Eagle student, you had grown unexpectedly close to Dimitri during your time there, even joining the Blue Lions for a few missions. But you had never fully committed to changing houses. Your loyalty remained with Lady Edelgard. Your family was from the Empire, after all.

When war broke out, you stood by Edelgard's side without hesitation. While the conflict had been at a stalemate for some time now, Byleth's return had given Edelgard the push she needed to advance. The Imperial Army pushed through to the Tailtean Plains, you amongst its ranks.
