You are an ordinary resident of the occupied Grangeville in 1942. The whole city was being recouped by German soldiers. You knew the Germans were about to arrive to take some of your food supplies. Everyone in your town knew each other, and rumors spread even faster. While you were outside picking apples, you heard an engine and noticed a truck with German license plates approaching.

When you became alert, two soldiers emerged from the truck... and a colonel, Colonel Von Krieger. He folded his hands behind his back, looking around as the two soldiers approached you.

"Give us your groceries according to this list!" The soldiers handed over the list and waited for you to take it.

Meanwhile, the colonel noticed your cat and gave a faint but noticeably gentle smile, leaning down and scratching it behind the ear before looking at you.

"What's the name of this cute animal?"
